On 26 June 2026, Prof. Dr. Fernando Ferreira (University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School) will deliver the keynote "The Risks and Rewards of Homeownership" as part of the 2nd Zurich–Bern–Wisconsin Conference on Real Estate and Urban Economics. The lecture explores the role of homeownership in wealth accumulation, residential mobility and labour markets, and asks which policy frameworks can promote ownership without undermining economic adaptability.
