Topics: Labour economics, development economics, and environmental economics.
Requirements: There are no formal requirements. Familiarity with statistical software (e.g. Stata or R) is an advantage.
Procedure: Please send me an e-mail (jeanne.tschopp@unibe.ch) with your CV, current transcript of grades, and a few lines on your topic of interest, potential research question, and if possible the data and methodology you plan on using. We will then schedule a meeting to discuss further details.
Oral part: For MA theses in the applied master's programme, a formal oral presentation is part of the grade. For other MA and BA theses, no formal presentation is required; instead, regular informal meetings take place to discuss progress.
