Topics: Bachelor theses applying econometric methods, with a focus on labour economics and the economics of natural disasters.
Requirements: There are no formal requirements. Basic knowledge of econometrics and elementary coding skills (in any software) are an advantage.
Procedure: If students already have a topic in mind, they should send a short thesis proposal. A meeting (in person or via Zoom) will then be scheduled to discuss feasibility. If no topic is defined yet, students may indicate their areas of interest.
Oral part: No formal defence. During the writing process, one or more meetings (in person or via Zoom) take place to discuss topics such as identification strategy, methods, and data. These meetings are not directly evaluated, but help in assessing the student's understanding.
